Da Capo al Fine

Further to what I mentioned earlier, everything on this blog so far, has been for my records of data life online. Just keeping myself, as much as anyone else, in the loop. Using ChiKiSpirit as a pseudonym.

Incidentally, I saw a spider, on my towel, in the bathroom this morning. I found this quite amusing. I didn’t want it on the towel so flicked it on the floor. Better a spider than cigarette ash.

Hasta entonces. I have to give the dog his breakfast.

Lots of love to all who may come across this blog.

Light your darkness with love; and let there be hope!

 Back to Lanercost this week.

Impromptu lunch/tea prepared by the culinary duo, Carol and Helen. Dynamic. We were trying to come up with a name for them, all good fun! The dish I had for my lunch today was yummy. I should go back and check what it was called.

Went into the Abbey and played one of my old improvisations on the lovely piano there. Got myself a Sycamore gap pendant.

My pup is encouraging me with the music book since the poem about him has been published.

Yes, I know it’s taking a long time.

Last few days in December

This has been a pretty awful year for many people from all over the world. Sending wishes that 2023 will be better. Some new cards are on the cards, to be made throughout the coming year.
I hope everyone enjoys their celebrations finding lots of light where it has been dark. The new fool's pup is raring to go, can be naughty but also a great delight!
As we are no longer interested in supporting Tai Chi, may support a little Reiki here and there, moving forward with spiritual and musical matters in a different way, this will be the last post here.
Goodbye China, goodbye Russia, goodbye Japan and may your sputniks disappear forever.

Here we are

I hadn't realised it was so early. Never mind. I'm here now and going to say what I was going to say and...it's about my Cancer teddy bear, the one I got when Roly Poly died of bowel cancer. A lovely lady, old enough to be my mum, won it in the raffle I had organised. I was sad to see it go but it did make her day! There is a picture of it somewhere online! I know where it is, at the moment. Let's hope I don't forget!
Have a great day wherever you are! 🙂

Easter Sunday

What's the time Mr. Wolf?
It's breakfast time.
No Easter eggs allowed.
Pleased and happy that the wolf is an enlightened wolf, we have nothing to fear. These scales, on the other hand, are not fit for purpose...

Visiting the Priory

The High Priestess was busy, what with it being a Tuesday and was out walking with a walking group. Queen of Wands decided to visit her friends at the Dacre Room in the Priory.
They have put on quite a show with jewelry, painted glass as well as crystals, crafted animals, cushions, wall hangings and some finely turned wood items.
She noticed a pair of silver treble clef earrings.
Some musician or singer/songwriter may be interested in them. There were some fairies trapped in bottles, dragons and another family of other fairies.
The fair will be on until Saturday. There will be another in July. Cheers!
Here are some of the fairies:
A wily fox
Some lovely painted pottery
Cups and saucers
And the crystals
There is loads more to see there but that is all the Queen of Wands can show you here. She had already put a protective barrier around herself, which filtered through to the butterflies, because she didn't them to get caught in the candle flames. See you soon!
