Sorry to say, his idea of a joke will go no further. Too
many people have been frazzled by IT. We've had 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of Light
Sweepers here on Earth today. Yikes!
I’ve stuck him in a cauldron with the other one. They are
both Devils so I’m going to send them off to Sirius where they’ll be devoured
by....
...a
giant spider.
I know Jamie isn’t frightened of spiders.
When they arrived the spider was nowhere to be seen...
“That’s a relief!” they chorused “the spider’s DEAD!”
Little did they know the mischievous little Imp that was
there instead.
She surveyed the new arrivals. “You’ll be safe here!” she told the two
Devils.
Feeling quite secure they snuggled down in the cauldron and
went to sleep.
The shutters came down and out came the spider.
“What’s this? What’s this?” it thought as it spied the
cauldron.
It climbed up to the top then slipped down inside. To its
surprise and delight it saw two red morsels that looked good enough to eat. She
stung them with her poison and wrapped her silver threads around them so they
couldn’t escape.
When she’d finished, the spider noticed the Imp standing on
top of the cauldron. “You had something to do with this, didn’t you?”
The Imp winked.
“Thank you, ChiKiSpirit!” smiled the spider. (The Imp didn’t get too close, just in
case...)
From that day to this ChiKiSpirit and the spider have always
been friends and she always finds Devils for the spider to eat.
“How can I repay you, ChiKiSpirit?” asked the spider.
“You can save the World!” the Imp replied. Then she was
gone.
