The Fool and The Magician

They were both seen in church
on Maundy Thursday
Lighting candles
And saying their prayers.

The Empress

After the Empress had met the Fool and the Magician she realised they both had very different stories to tell. All three of them had nature and the countryside in their hearts. She was pleased they were there to tell stories of butterfly babies, children, music, fun, games and most importantly, they knew the difference between right and wrong. They had been taught how to tell the Truth.

there's a spider under the washing machine

Sorry to say, his idea of a joke will go no further. Too many people have been frazzled by IT. We've had 2, 3, 4, 5 and 7 of Light Sweepers here on Earth today. Yikes!
I’ve stuck him in a cauldron with the other one. They are both Devils so I’m going to send them off to Sirius where they’ll be devoured by....
                                                ...a giant spider.

I know Jamie isn’t frightened of spiders.

When they arrived the spider was nowhere to be seen...

“That’s a relief!” they chorused “the spider’s DEAD!”
Little did they know the mischievous little Imp that was there instead.
She surveyed the new arrivals.  “You’ll be safe here!” she told the two Devils.
Feeling quite secure they snuggled down in the cauldron and went to sleep.
The shutters came down and out came the spider.
“What’s this? What’s this?” it thought as it spied the cauldron.
It climbed up to the top then slipped down inside. To its surprise and delight it saw two red morsels that looked good enough to eat. She stung them with her poison and wrapped her silver threads around them so they couldn’t escape.
When she’d finished, the spider noticed the Imp standing on top of the cauldron. “You had something to do with this, didn’t you?”
The Imp winked.
“Thank you, ChiKiSpirit!” smiled the spider.   (The Imp didn’t get too close, just in case...)
From that day to this ChiKiSpirit and the spider have always been friends and she always finds Devils for the spider to eat.
“How can I repay you, ChiKiSpirit?” asked the spider.

“You can save the World!” the Imp replied. Then she was gone.

Some years later… Sunday, 17th August to be exact, ChiKiSpirit noticed that the spider had gone.
Another spider had taken his place. She didn’t want to have that much to do with the devils and spiders, unless they are poisonous, are not so bad or scary as some people may think.

The Hermit

The Hermit lives inside a crystal. It has disappeared for the time being but should appear within next couple of weeks.

A message from ChiKiSpirit to The Holy Fool

After some considerable time the High Priestess was visited, via telephonic communication and snail mail, by a Holy Fool who inspired her to write this poem

  • Your crazy paving footpath is cracked and full of weeds
  • A daft and silly bird has dropped a thousand seeds
  • Some of them have landed in places you did not know
  • They've sown something bigger than you ever intended to sow
  • Your call for redemption with a slack rope built to last
  • Has caught itself on a voodoo neck and is calling you too fast.
  • For a thousand days without no food
  • But the seedy, seedy seeds
  • From the crazy paving footpath
  • That grew a million weeds that was watered with zombies
  • ...and bad children's needs.
  • You've watered it with wisdom, with God's words and deeds

  • You've woken up some sunflowers and pansies have choked the weeds.
